My latest news: Logan is counting up to 10, he can spell M-O-M just in time for Mother's Day with some prompting, and he has started potty training..and says bye bye to Pampers (even though he wears Huggies)
One of our best purchases ever was the NorTech Security Camera - it comes with two cameras and is a wireless system that you connect to your TV. I can monitor Logan's mischief during naptime and at night. Great if your TV has picture in picture. You can buy it at Sam's for $130.

A definite Never Enought Time to Smell Roses - We recently participated in the Sprint for Life that benefits the fight against Ovarian Cancer. Lisa Marie started this effort due to a family friend Monika who was recently diagnosed and then someone who I know was diagnosed last week.
Ovarian cancer is the most common cause of cancer death from gynecologic tumors in the United States. Early disease causes minimal, nonspecific, or no symptoms. Therefore, most patients are diagnosed in an advanced stage. Overall, prognosis for these patients remains poor, with an overall 50% 5-year survival rate. Approximately 15,000 women die every year in the United States from ovarian cancer. My friend is only 33 years old - and has been complaining to her doctor for over a year. It was not until they performed a hysterectomy that the cancer was found. So listen to your body and keep pressure on your doctor to find the root cause.

See you next month!

Love the camera, and it seems very reasonably priced, too! I'll keep that in mind for the future.
I also wanted to add a note regarding the ovarian cancer information. Every woman should get their HPV shot, if at all possible. It is a series of 3 shots over a 6 month period and I'm sure most insurance companies are covering it now. HPV has shown to be present in almost all cases of cervical cancer. That's my two cents.
